Make sure you have your backflow prevention device tested to ensure it is working properly. Some counties, such as Coweta, require annual testing and reporting. Others require annual testing but do not follow up for confirmation. Backflow prevention is the only way to prevent your irrigation water from mixing in with your drinking water if your irrigation system is tied into the same meter as your drinking water.
