Many people will tell you that you do not need to winterize your irrigation system. Because weather is so unpredictable in Atlanta and the southeast we do recommend that you winterize your irrigation system. Most irrigation system's piping is installed well below the frost line but it's a small price to pay for peace of mind in knowing that your system will work well in the spring.
